“Lady Swordfighter: Escape From Hatcho-jima” is the latest library album from composer & producer Sean Wolcott, continuing the saga with a 19-track descent through captivity, madness, rage, and rebellion. 

A prequel to Lady Swordfighter, this chapter follows her descent into a brutal prison island—and her mythic rise through blood and sisterhood. Blending heavy-psych jidaigeki, haunted exploitation score, and inner-spirit orchestra, the album pushes the saga further with shakuhachi, koto, shinobue, taiko, and more—fused with deadly funk, fuzzed-out psych, epic horns, ritual drums, and vengeance-fueled ballads. 

All songs were written, produced, arranged, orchestrated, and recorded by Sean Wolcott at Soundview Analog Recorders.
